What happens when you bolt-up a Pro Charger to a 427-inch Small Block Chevy and run it on alcohol in the Ultra Street class? Well, it's a bit more elegant than that, but Brian Keep of Keep Racing Team is here to tell 'ya.
You didn't think we'd get the behind-the-scenes scoop from only one racer at Lights Out, did you? Cruising the pits at South Georgia Motorsports Park led us to another Diamond Pistons racer, Brian Keep and the Keep Racing Team.
Brian Keep started drag racing in his teenage years, hailing out of the New England area with a Small Block Chevy-powered car running 10.2 at 130 MPH. The addictive bug of horsepower and drag racing bit him early on and it didn't take long for Brian to find himself chasing the Drag Radial series and World Street Nationals. The rest is history, as Keep Racing has been at every Duck X Promotions race possible since.
He's now behind the wheel of a Pro Charged, alcohol fed, 427-inch Small Block Chevy equipped Ultra Street Camaro equipped with a custom set of Diamond Pistons. Want to see what goes into Brian's piston design to keep them running strong for a season or more? Give the video a watch.
